What GoTasks collects, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. Last updated 18 September 2026.
GoTasks runs no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. There is no tracking pixel on this site and none in the app. Nothing here is sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
Anyone with the link can open a photo you submit, whether or not they have an account.
That is how peer verification works: five people have to be able to look at a photo to confirm you did the thing. Photos are served from a public storage bucket, so treat anything you submit as published. Do not photograph anything you would not put on a public website, and be careful about other people appearing in your shots.
That is the entire list. No other company receives your data.
If you submit proof while offline, the photo waits in your own browser or phone storage until it can be sent, then it is removed. It is not readable by this site or anyone else while it waits.
Email privacy@gotasks.xyz from the address on the account and say you want it deleted. Your account, your proof photos, your votes and your profile go with it.
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you at the same address. Both are done by hand at the moment, so give it a few days.
GoTasks is not for children under 13, and under 16 in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Accounts found to belong to someone younger are removed.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and anyone with an account is told by email before it takes effect.
